We stepped up because families were left in the dark.

We're Inderpreet and Eugene, and we're running for school board because we watched something our kids loved get taken away without a fight. We aren’t politicians. We trusted the system to work.

For years, the AI program was more than a curriculum for our children. It was their community: friends who understood them, teachers who pushed them, a place they were excited to show up for. Then the administration ended it, with no survey, no town hall, no real chance for parents to weigh in. When it came to a vote, our opponents had a choice to stand up for our families. They didn't ask a single question. They rubber stamped it.

We know what that decision cost our kids: friendships split apart, classrooms they loved gone, and questions at our own kitchen tables we couldn't answer.

So we got to work. We called other parents, organized, and brought a community back together that had felt scattered and alone. Our kids spoke up too. Our opponents' response was blank stares and another rubber stamp vote.

We learned you cannot protect your kids by pleading with people who refuse to listen. You have to bring the fight to the ballot box.

That's why we're running: to restore the AI program, fight for academic excellence, and bring real accountability & transparency back to this district.
