Who we are

BR Kids First ("we," "us," or "our") operates brkidsfirst.org for the Bridgewater-Raritan Board of Education campaign. Questions about this page can be sent to info@brkidsfirst.org.

Information you submit

We collect information you choose to send through the volunteer form, the contact form, and the update-request form on this site. Those forms email the campaign inbox at info@brkidsfirst.org.

Depending on the form, that can include your name, email address, phone number, street address, city, ZIP code, how you want to help, yard-sign quantity, a message subject, your message, and whether you opted in to campaign texts.

• Volunteer form — name, phone, email, optional address and yard-sign details, and the activities you select
• Contact form — name, email, optional phone, subject, and message
• Update-request form — name, email or phone, or both, and an optional SMS opt-in

Hosting and bot protection

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Form submissions are checked with Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce automated spam. Cloudflare may process technical information about your visit as part of hosting and bot protection.

Cookies and similar storage

Essential storage keeps the site usable. That includes remembering that you dismissed the volunteer update banner and remembering your cookie choice.

Analytics cookies are used only if you accept. We do not use marketing cookies on this site.

Google Analytics

If you accept analytics, we load Google Analytics with measurement ID G-239P3LS1J9 so we can see how people use the site. If you decline, or if you have not chosen yet, we do not load Google Analytics.

Campaign text messages

If you check the SMS box and provide a phone number, BR Kids First (the joint candidates committee for Inderpreet Banga and Eugene Tawiah) may send you recurring campaign texts. You may receive up to 4 messages per week. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help.

We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Providing a phone number without checking the SMS box is not consent to receive texts. Contact-form phone numbers are for a reply, not SMS opt-in.

How we use information

We use form submissions to run the campaign, reply to you, and follow up with volunteers. If you opted in to texts, we use your mobile number to send those campaign messages. We use consented analytics to understand site traffic. We do not sell personal information.

Who else may see information

Campaign volunteers who help manage the inbox may read messages you send. Cloudflare provides hosting and Turnstile. Google provides Analytics only after you accept. Twilio delivers campaign texts only if you opted in. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Your choices

You can accept, customize, or decline analytics on the cookie notice. You can also refuse cookies in your browser. Reply STOP to cancel campaign texts, or email info@brkidsfirst.org about information you sent through a form.

Children

This website is for voters, parents, and volunteers. It is not meant to collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this page when our practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
