Who sends the messages

Texts are sent by BR Kids First, the joint candidates committee that pays for this campaign. They are political messages, not messages from the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District.

How to opt in

You opt in on https://brkidsfirst.org by providing a phone number on the homepage Stay connected lead form or the sitewide campaign-updates banner, then checking an unchecked SMS consent checkbox. The checkbox label includes program identity, up to 4 messages per week, Message and data rates may apply, Reply STOP to unsubscribe, Reply HELP for help, and links to https://brkidsfirst.org/privacy/ and https://brkidsfirst.org/terms/. A public copy of that checkbox is at https://brkidsfirst.org/sms-consent/. Providing a phone number without checking that box is not consent to receive texts. Contact-form phone numbers are for a reply, not SMS opt-in.

Frequency, rates, and content

You may receive up to 4 messages per week. Message and data rates may apply.

Messages identify BR Kids First and may include links to this website. They will not include donation checkout in this program.

Privacy
